Dianne works with CEUPlus creating onine continuing education courses for all professionals. Her course in Motivational Interviewing should be online at the CEUPlus website in March 2009.
Several political campaigns have used Dianne's writing and media talents in recent years, and she has published opeds and articles in
- Common Dreams
- The Eugene Register-Guard
- Buzzflash
- History News Network
- Moondance
- North by Northwest Online Magazine
and other venues.
Dianne has been fortunate to study transpersonal psychology and to travel France and Greece with the inimitable Jean Houston, learn meditation with the very peaceful Jon Kabat-Zinn at Omega Institute, and to study with, hug and share a quiet dinner with the effervescent and always inspirational Joan Borysenko.
Dianne has worked as a media consultant, and has taught at several universities at the graduate and undergraduate levels. She holds a B.A. in Communications (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Kentucky, and a doctorate in Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. She claims she will go for no more degrees, but you never know. If she were offered a scholarship to study in Paris.....or Jamaica.....
